Asahipak Phase

for the seperation of:

Aliphatic Alcohols, Amino Acid, Cyclodextrine, Proteinen, Peptides, Oligosaccharides, Drugs

Asahipak is a polymer phase that shows high durability in both alkaline and acidic range. Since the pore size of the packing material for Asahipak is large, only one type of column is needed for the analysis of high molecular weight substances such as proteins or medium to low molecular weight substances such as peptides and amino acids.
Die Polarity of the packing material increases in the following order:
ODP
C8P
C4P

if the retention on an Asahipak ODP is too strong, an Asahipak C8P or C4P can be used; the hydrophobic interaction becomes weaker and the elution of the sample is faster

The chromatogramm on the right shows the different retention times of the Asahipak ODP, C8P und C4P.
